Knitters rejoice! Wool and the Gang launch a recycled yarn collection

Rejoice home knitters/crocheters/crafters! DIY knitwear brand, Wool and the Gang, announced this week the launch of a collection of yarns made entirely from recycled and surplus yarn. Their ‘Heal the Wool’ yarns are made from 100% recycled Peruvian fibre, are biodegradable and made their way to Wool and the Gang after being saved from landfill. As an avid crocheter myself, I can assure you the hunt for eco friendly yarn is a long and arduous one. Thank you Wool and the Gang!

If you aren’t already acquainted, Wool and the Gang are a British knitwear brand that approach manufacturing a little differently. Often teaming up with some of the industry's most exciting knitwear brands to bring their ‘gang’ cool knitwear offerings, but here’s the twist; they invite you to knit it yourself. Whether a pro or an inexperienced knitter, they will hold your hand along the way with their easy video tutorials and product kits that come complete with the correct size needles and required yarn.
